Nestled in the National AIDS Memorial Grove’s Dogwood Crescent, the Circle of Friends is considered the “Heart of the National AIDS Memorial.” Made of beige Minnesota flagstone, it is engraved with over 3,000 names of individuals touched by AIDS, including those who have died; those who loved them; and donors to the National AIDS Memorial.

“Thousands of people have died in San Francisco, millions in the world. The point of the National AIDS Memorial Grove is to remember them, one at a time.”

       – Congresswoman, Nancy Pelosi

A member of the National AIDS Memorial team would welcome the opportunity to meet in the Grove to
answer any questions, which allows an interested donor the opportunity to view the various hardscape
