The National AIDS Memorial Grove has been selected as a Major Beneficiary of Folsom Street Events again this year! To ensure the most generous grant possible, we must meet our required number of volunteers to help staff the Folsom Street Fair. The Grove receives no government funding, so this grant is critical to help cover costs of the Grove’s continued maintenance and its programs.
Folsom Street Fair is Sunday, September 24, and we still need 45 volunteers to meet our requirement. This is an adult-themed fair, and a variety of volunteer shifts are available throughout the day—some in the “thick” of the fair and others more removed from the action. Please consider signing up for Security shifts with a friend. Madonna headsets and orange vests included! Volunteer perks include: free food, private restrooms, and free coat/bag check.
All shifts are “first come, first serve,” so we want to make every attempt to ensure that you have first choice.
