the national aids memorial annual gala

Light in the Grove, held annually on the eve of World AIDS Day, is our largest annual fundraising event with all proceeds directly supporting the National AIDS Memorial. This year, in consideration of the health and safety of our National AIDS Memorial family and the community at large, we are unable to gather in the Grove for our annual reunion, under the stars.

Still, your continued generosity, particularly during these difficult times, helps the National AIDS Memorial continue its work and advance our mission and programs. Your support goes a long way to ensure the care for our beloved Grove and provides critical funding for the AIDS Memorial Quilt and other programs such as our educational scholarships, storytelling initiatives and volunteer workdays.

As a gesture of our deeply heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support, we wanted to show our appreciation with a special Light in the Grove video tribute and thank you.  We hope you and your invited guests can join us for a short program on the evening of November 30, beginning at 6 pm, as we bring together a few special guests, a moving video of our beloved Grove, and provide you a preview of our World AIDS Day commemoration event on December 1, 2020. While this special VIP program is not a meant to replace our annual gala, it is a small way for us to simply say ‘thank you’ and maintain our tradition of gathering together on the eve of World AIDS Day
